Troubleshooting post installation tasks

During post installation, the database halts or restarts, and the post installation task halts at Data ware house Preparing space.To fix this issue and to ensure that the post installation task is completed correctly, you must force-restart the post installation task by using the following command:


After upgrade, two instances of the scheduler are running.

This issue is typically caused due to a corrupted cache. Follow the steps given below to confirm, and resolve this issue:

  1. Type ./cpit status on the machine where the ETL Engine is installed to verify that two instances of the scheduler running.
  2. Type kill -9 <processID> to terminate both the instances.
  3. Type ./cpit clean scheduler to start a clean instance of the scheduler.
