You can access the Global Configuration page via the Administration tab; click Systems then click Global Configuration. This page shows the current settings of your BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization installation, allowing you to edit them.
This is mainly a reference page used to get an overview of the configuration parameters, as these properties are usually set during the installation process. When you click Advanced, all properties are shown.

By clicking Edit you can modify the current configuration options. To edit a property, locate it in one of the available tabs (for example, the Datahub tab), type a new value and click Save.
Beware that errors while editing these settings may result in data loss or system malfunction.
The available configuration tabs are:
This tab allows you to configure the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization license and its integration with other BMC products.
For information about integrating BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization with BMC ProactiveNet, see BMC TrueSight Operations Management.
For information about integrating BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization with BMC Atrium CMDB and BMC Atrium SSO, see Configuring BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization with BMC Atrium Single Sign-On.
This tab allows you to configure general connection properties, as shown in the figure.
Example of the System configuration - General tab
On the General tab, you can define multiple Administrator Email addresses and SNMP Addresses by typing a semicolon-separated list of addresses.
This tab allows you to configure BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization default formats, such as the date format, as shown in the figure.

This tab allows you to configure LDAP user authentication.
You can configure multiple LDAP or secure LDAP domains, to authenticate users using different contexts on the same LDAP server or on different servers.
The LDAP user email attribute field allows you to specify the user's email address by providing:
This dynamic email composition must result in a valid address that is unique for each user.
Users logging in to BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization need to enter their username as
<domain>\<username>. Specifying the default domain in the configuration form allows users authenticating against that domain to simply enter their username.
This tab allows you to configure access to the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization Datahub web services.
This tab allows you to configure the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization Data Warehouse; the basic properties are shown in the following figure.
