Uninstalling other components on UNIX and Linux
This topic provides instructions for uninstalling components other than the BMC Server Automation Console on UNIX and Linux operating systems.
To uninstall other components on UNIX and Linux
- Log on as root.
- Navigate to the directory where BMC Server Automation components are installed. By default, this directory is /opt/bmc/bladelogic.
- Navigate to the NSH subdirectory.
Invoke the installation script by entering the following command:
./Uninstall
Note
If you installed the component using the local option, you must specify that option when you uninstall the component. For example:
./Uninstall -local
For more information about uninstalling with the
-local
option, see Uninstalling components using the local option on UNIX or Linux.- A series of messages indicates the status of uninstallation progress. Then, the following prompt is displayed:
Do you wish to retain the certificate.pem file (y/n)? - Enter y or n as appropriate.
Uninstallation is complete.
