A container blueprint is a hardware-independent representation of a container, specifying the logic necessary to configure the container on potentially various device types, which can be instantiated for use with specific device types by associating it with a compatible pod. A given container blueprint can be reused to create multiple containers.
Perform the following tasks to view the list of container blueprints:
- Navigate to Network > Virtual Data Center > Container Blueprints.
The Container Blueprints list page lists the reference or user-imported container blueprints present in the BMC Network Automation system. For more information about importing custom container blueprints, see Managing pods and containers from the BMC Network Automation the command line interface. Use this page to manage container blueprints. If there are multiple revisions of a container blueprint, you can view a difference report between adjacent revisions. For example, the Large Gold Container Blueprint in the figure above has revisions 0, 1, 2, and 3. To view the difference report, click to view an XML difference report.
