BMC Database Automation adapter

The BMC Database Automation application is a comprehensive software solution that improves the efficiency of complex database infrastructures. It administers the complete database life cycle, including the automation of recurring operational tasks such as provisioning, patching, and configuration management. It also eases transitions between database vendors and software upgrades, providing greater predictability and consistency across all database operations.

The BMC Atrium Orchestrator application adapter for BMC Database Automation consists of an actor adapter. The actor adapter provides operations that use the HTTP adapter to extract or manipulate data in the BMC Database Automation application. The actor adapter performs the Approve_Job operation.

Note

The BMC Database Automation application must be configured with OIC Runbooks for the BMC Database Automation application adapter to work.

The adapter supports the mutual authentication feature of the HTTP adapter.
