This solution leverages EMC XtremIO Management Server to monitor all the key performance of your EMC XtremIO storage systems. Data is regularly collected and brought into your BMC console to help you detect poor performance and defects before they impact your business.
Main features
The solution monitors the following components:
- Battery Backup Units (BBU): Charge, load, connection status, severity, presence, status, voltage, and so on.
- X-Bricks: Severity, presence, status, and so on.
- Clusters: Available and subscribed capacity, status, data consistency, severity, number of ports, number of operations, data traffic, and so on.
- Controllers: Statuses, number of operations, data traffic, presence, temperature, voltage, and so on.
- DAE: Severity, presence, status, and so on.
- Infiniband Ports: Integrity error, link status, packets received, presence, number of errors, status, and so on.
- Local disks: Number of bad sectors, statuses, severity, presence, and so on.
- Physical disks: Number of bad sectors, number of operations, data traffic, statuses, severity, presence, and so on.
- Ports: Bandwidth utilization, errors and failures, loss of signal and sync, link status, number of operations, presence, data traffic, response times, status, and so on.
- PSU: Statuses, severity, presence, and so on.
- Volumes: Consumed capacity, list of hosts, severity, number of operations, data traffic, response times, time since last activity, and so on.
- EMC XtremIO Management Server: Collection status, CPU utilization, managed clusters, RAM usage, and so on.
