Mailing a report
To mail a report
- Click the Mail this Page icon to display the Mail Details for Snapshot window.
- In the From field, enter the report sender's email address.
- In the Subject field, enter the subject line of the email message. By default, reportType reportName is displayed as the subject of the email message.
- In the Email address field, enter the receiver's email address.
In the Messagefield, type a message description, that is to be sent via mail either in HTML or plain text format.
If a problem occurs
If the report is not displayed properly in the email message, change the following settings for Outlook 2003 and 2007:
- In Outlook 2003, to view a report in email, click Tools > Options > Security and click Change Automatic Download Settings. The Automatic Download Settings screen is displayed. Clear Don't download pictures or other content automatically in HTML email.
- In Outlook 2007, open the message. From the Other Actions menu, select View in browser to view the mail in a browser in HTML format.
If the mail size is too large, the mail is not delivered. This is a Microsoft limitation.
