Running reports

You can run a report in CSV format (or as a PDF for certain products as described in step 6). Each time reports are run, they are stored in the user\Reports folder where the License Utility is installed ($LicenseUsageCollectorHome\licenseusagecollector\user\Reports\timestamp folder).

To run a report

  1. Click the License Report tab.
  2. From the Select Deployments list, select a deployment (for example, Remedy AR System Server (ARS).
To select multiple deployments, use your CTRL and Shift keys while selecting deployments.

    Tip

To add more deployments to the list, see Adding deployments.

  3. From the Duration list, select a time (for example, Last Three Months).
    1. To select a custom time, select Custom, then double-click to select the start date from the "From" Calendar icon and the end date from the "To" Calendar icon.

      Note

The Duration option is only applicable to: ARS, BSA 8.2 to 8.6, BSA 8.7 to 8.9.02, and TrueSight Server Automation 8.9.03 onwards (formerly BSA), as noted in the tooltip on the Information (info) icon.

  4. Click Run License Report.
The License Report Run Notes box displays the real-time status messages while the report is running. "Process Finished" will appear once completed.
  5. To view the report, in the Details of Selected Reports Run (by Deployment) section, in the License Report column, click the Click Here link.
  6. On the Report File/Location Selection dialog, select one of the following options, then click OK:
