With URL Monitoring as the selected monitor type, the Add monitor dialog box enables you to configure details for monitoring URLs. For more information, see Configuring monitoring settings.

URL | Type the URL you want to monitor in the http://<Host>:<PORT>/<URL> or https://<Host>:<PORT>/<URL> format. |
URL Display Name | Enter a unique name that identifies the URL that you want to monitor in the BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management Operation console. For better tracking, the label should be named in the device_port_urlName format. |
HTTP Method | Select the HTTP method type you want to use for the URL from the following:

HTML Charset | Choose one of the HTML character sets supported by the user agent. |
Timeout | The time required by the URL to respond to requests. |
HTTPS Response Code | HTTP Response Code indicate the OK Status code ranges and WARNING status code ranges for the URL you want to monitor. |
Authentication | Enter the Username and Password associated with the URL. |
Content Check | Enter the content check criteria using one or more than one of the following:

Cookie | Enter the cookie name and value that will be sent with the URL you want to monitor. |
Referrer | Enter the fully qualified path to the referrer to the URL of a page to be monitored. |
User Agent | Enter the name that identifies the user agent. PATROL is the default user agent. |

Field Name | Enter the name, address, or account number associated with the form fields for the URL you want to monitor. |
Field Value | Enter the field value associated with the form fields for the URL monitored. |
Field Encrypted Value | Enter the filed encrypted value. The value you enter will not be visible on the screen. |
Add to List | Click this button to add the HTTP From Fields to the list of HTTP From Fields. |
Modify Selection | Click this button to save the changes made to the HTTP From Field already added. |
Remove from List | Click this button to remove the added HTTP From Field from the list of HTTP From Fields |
Note
You can modify the host, port, and the URL specified. You cannot modify the protocol specified. If you enter an incorrect protocol, delete it and type it again.
After adding all the relevant URLs you want to monitor, click the Close button to save the configuration.

The table separator row "HTTP From Fields" should be "HTTP Form Fields. The Description text for Add to List and Remove to List also contain this error, HTTP From Fields should be HTTP Form Fields.
