In BMC PATROL, a command that is initiated by the PATROL Console and run by the PATROL Agent when the PATROL Console connects or reconnects to the agent. For example, a setup command can initialize an application log file to prepare it for monitoring. BMC PATROL provides some setup commands for computer classes. Only a PATROL Console with developer functionality can add or change setup commands.
