In BMC Performance Manager, a filter maintained by the PATROL Agent for each PATROL Console or event manager that connects to it. The filter minimizes network traffic by limiting the number and types of events forwarded from a PATROL Agent to a PATROL Console or an event manager such as the PATROL Event Manager (PEM).
