In BMC PATROL 3.x and earlier, a domain group that can be set up by a Microsoft Windows system administrator to restrict user access to a PATROL Developer Console. When a user tries to start a PATROL Console with developer functionality, BMC PATROL verifies that the user is in the patroldev group. If the user is not in this group, a PATROL Console with operator functionality is started instead. See also ptrldev.
