In BMC Server Automation, a set of rules you define as part of a BMC Server Automation component template. To enforce compliance rules, you can run a compliance job, which compares a subset of the component parts to the compliance rules. Compliance rules can range from simple requirements such as the presence of a particular server object, to complex conditions based on multiple component parts and properties. Each compliance rule can specify a BLPackage that can be used to remediate failures detected by a compliance job.
