In BMC Atrium Discovery, an open-source utility available on Sourceforge. RemCom enables you to execute commands on remote Microsoft Windows hosts in a way similar to the commercial PsExec utility. When BMC Atrium Discovery requests a discovery action by using the RemCom utility, RemCom copies a binary (itself) to the ADMIN$ share on the target system. RemCom then installs and runs that binary as a service.
