BMC is alerting you to a change in support, in accordance with the BMC Software Product Support Policy.
As of version 9.0.21, Control-M Automation API enables you to perform services or commands that are equivalent to most of the emdef utilities.
Therefore, from version 9.0.21.100—with the exception of importpromotionrule, exportpromotionrule, exportdefservice, and defservice—the emdef utility suite is deprecated. The emdef utility suite is no longer enhanced, but it is fully supported until version 9.0.22 (released no earlier than February 2025).
Support is discontinued in version 9.0.22. Bugs are no longer fixed, and the suite might be partially or fully removed from future releases.
