Apache Tomcat 7.0 on RHEL ZipKit
Apache Tomcat (or simply Tomcat) is an open source web server and servlet container developed by the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). Tomcat implements the Java Servlet and the JavaServer Pages (JSP) specifications from Sun MicroSystems, and provides a pure Java HTTP web server environment in which Java code runs.
The Apache Tomcat 7.0 on RHEL (Apache Tomcat on RHEL) ZipKit allows you to provision Apache Tomcat version 7.0 and MySQL version 5.0 or 5.1 along with Java Development Kit (JDK) version 7.0 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 5.4 or 6.3.

The following topics describe how to use the ZipKit to create a service offering that deploys Apache Tomcat version 7.0 and MySQL version 5.0 along with Java Development Kit (JDK) version 7.0 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 5.4.
Topic | Description |
