In the SAP® Business Objects business intelligence interface, use the navigation pane's Home and Documents tabs, and the drawers in the Documents tab to select the folders and report templates you want to use to generate BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management reports. You can also set preferences for Locales, Time zone, Analysis edition for OLAP, Web Intelligence, BI Workspaces, Crystal reports, and change password, in the Preferences menu. The Help Menu opens the help documentation for SAP® BusinessObjects business intelligence. The Search text field helps you to search documents, alerts, messages, applications. 

The Home tab is one of the default tabs available in the business intelligence interface. The Home tab contains the following default modules:

  • My Recently Viewed Documents: lists the last ten documents that you have viewed, sorted by the date you viewed. The most recently viewed document appears on the top.
  • Unread Messages in My Inbox: lists the ten recent unread messages in your business intelligence Inbox.
  • My Recently Run Documents: lists the last ten documents in the repository that you scheduled or ran, with the status of each document instance. To view successful instances or details of failed instances, click an instance link.
  • Unread Alerts:  list the last 10 or more unread alert notifications. To view all alert notifications, click See More in the lower-right corner of the module.
  • My Applications: provides quick access to the applications.

You can use the Documents tab to view and manage objects in the repository. The Documents tab contains the following drawers:

  • My Documents: Contains My Favorites, Inbox, My Alerts, Subscribed Alerts, Personal Categories folders.
  • Folders: Contains the Public Folders folder which contains the sub folders available to view, manage, and generate reports. To generate BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management reports you can use the TrueSight Operations Management Reports folder.   • Categories: You can use the Categories folder to assign objects to categories - corporate or personal.
  • Search: You can use the search drawer to search objects, applications, alerts, and messages.
