You can monitor the Report Engine using BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management monitors. The Infrastructure Management monitor collects critical and performance data from applications, databases, middleware, and services.
- For Windows, BMC TrueSight Report Engine runs as a service. You must add a Windows Service monitor and select BMC TrueSight Report Engine as the service to be monitored. For details, see the Infrastructure Management monitors.
- For Solaris, BMC TrueSight Report Engine runs as a process. You must add a Solaris Process monitor and select BMC TrueSight Report Engine as the process to be monitored. For details, see the Infrastructure Management monitors.
