BMC Software is announcing support for Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2) for the communication between BMC TrueSight Operations Management Report Engine 10.0 and BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management cell 10.5.
To enable this support, perform the following:
- Open the Knowledge Article 0000116370 (Support logon ID required).
- Download the HotFix_10.0.00.01_TLS1.2.zip and readme files from the attachments section.
- Create a temporary directory on your local machine and extract the compressed (.zip) installation file that you downloaded.
- Open the readme file and follow the instructions in it to apply this hotfix.
- Configure the Infrastructure Management cell to Operations Management Reporting communication to enable TLS 1.2.
