BMC recommends the following guidelines when you are upgrading the BMC PATROL Agent and monitoring solutions to a Infrastructure Management 9.6 environment:
- Your Infrastructure Management infrastructure must include at least one (if not more) Integration Services.
Configure the local agent (agent that is installed with the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server) to be a staging Integration Service.
- Add the Integration Services using Central Monitoring Administration.
