You can use Central Monitoring Administration to manage BMC PATROL configuration across one or more Child Servers. This section presents the architecture diagrams for single-server and multiple-server deployments that include Central Monitoring Administration.

If you are using the PATROL Agent version 9.5, Central Monitoring Administration sends the configuration information to the PATROL Agent through the Child Server and the Integration Service. For PATROL Agent version 9.0, Central Monitoring Administration sends the configuration information to PATROL Agents only through the Integration Service. The default port is TCP 3183. The PATROL also Agent receives the configuration information through the same established TCP connection.

For the list of ports required to use Central Monitoring Administration, see Security.
