vSphere views help you to answer critical questions related to your vSphere virtualization environment, such as:
The vSphere Virtual Machines view, for instance, contains subviews that present a range of information including Overallocated VMs, Idle VMs, snapshot information and the resource allocation and usage of VMs in the Virtualization view. Detailed views enable you to see a time series chart of key metrics, and the tree map view provides a graphical representation of the vSphere capacity.

You must configure and run one of these ETL modules to import data into the view. For more information, see VMware vCenter module.
Note
If you are importing data from an ETL module other than the certified data source, then ensure that you have all the metrics populated in the ETL module so that the view shows the data.
