The Zone Host page in the Solaris Data Explorer view shows the behavior of metrics that are specific to a zone host.

To access this page, in the TrueSight console, select Capacity Views > Virtualization > Solaris > Data Explorer. Select the Zone Host tab to view the Zone Host page.

From the Zone Host filter, select the zone host that you want to view data for. 

You can filter out the data based on other filtering options too. For more information, see Using filtering options in views in the TrueSight console.

The metrics are categorized based on different profiles and are grouped under separate tabs. Click a tab to view the charts for that profile.

CPU Profile

This page displays a set of charts and a table with system hardware configuration details.

Process Profile

The Process Profile tab enables you to view the process-level data and workloads in the Data Explorer view for the systems that are being monitored by capacity agents. The process-level data displayed on this page is averaged according to the number of days selected in the filter for the Data Explorer view. To configure the aggregation of process-level data, see Aggregating process-level data for views.

Process Profile table

Field

Description

Select the required processes and click View Charts to view the graphical representation of the CPU utilization, memory utilization, virtual memory utilization and page faults for the selected processes.

Note

 You cannot select more than 10 processes.

Process Name

Name of the process.

CPU Util [%]Indicates the CPU utilized by the process.
Memory Used [MB]Indicates the Memory used by the process.
Virtual Memory Used [MB]Indicates the Virtual Memory used by the process.
Major Faults [faults/sec]Indicates the number of interrupts raised when the process is running.
In Blocks [operations/sec]

Total number of IN operations consumed by the process.

Out Blocks [operations/sec]

Total number of Oct operations performed by the process.

Process IDID of the process.
Start timeIndicates the start time of the process.
User NameIndicates the name of the user for which the process is running.
