The Report templates page displays information about all report templates configured on the system. Navigate to Administration > Template Management > Report templates to access Report templates.

The page contains a Report templates table that lists all available report templates and displays other useful information, such as type, the group and package they belong to, number of instances, and so on. 

The following table describes each element in detail.

Provides you with the following options:

  • Import: Opens a wizard to import a Works Package (.wpkg) file exported from another installation of the product to recreate exported Analyses or Time Forecast Models.
  • Export: Opens a pop-up box that enables you to export selected templates to a Reports Package (.rtpkg) file. This package can be imported in another installation of the product to create equivalent items.
  • Change visibility: Opens a pop-up box that allows you set the visibility for the selected templates. To set visibility, select one or more templates from the table, click Actions > Change visibility, and select any one of the following options (roles):
    • Reporter - To make the templates available to users with roles that have the 'Workspace section - Reports - Edit' activity.
    • Admin - To make the templates available to users with roles that have 'Enable a user to instantiate global report' activity.

Add a new advanced report template Click the button to add a new advanced report template. For more information, see Adding advanced report templates.
Select all check box
Select the check box to select all reports displayed in the table.
NameHyperlinked name of the report template. Click the name to view a basic description of the selected template.
TypeDisplays the the type of report template.
GroupName of the template group the report template belongs to.
PackageName of the package the report template is contained in.
InstancesThe number of instances of the report template currently in use.

Delete

Click to delete the report template.

Note

You can only delete report templates that are not in use.
