The Auto Analyzer task performs standard analyses for each application, business driver and system imported into the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization Data Warehouse.
Example of Auto Analyzer task
In the System tasks table, in the Name column, click the appropriate Auto Analyzer task.
The selected Auto Analyzer details page is displayed.

General configuration tab In addition to general settings such as name, environment and so on, you can edit the following properties: | |
Property | Description |

Name | Type the name of the run configuration. |
Environment | Select whether you want to execute the task in a Production or Test environment. |
Description | Type a description of the task. |
Generated Objects | Select whether this task will execute Auto analyses or Golden analyses / models. |
Parallelism | Type the number of tasks that can be executed simultaneously. |
Select the domain that should be processed by the the task. You can select multiple domains using the Ctrl key. | |
Select whether you want to to generate an automatic system overview or business driver overview chart. If you select Yes, the overview is displayed as a tab in the domain page that shows charts for the last 30 days of a set of preselected key performance indicators (KPIs). By default, this option is set to No, as automatic generation of charts for all domains can be a computationally expensive operation, especially in large environments. | |
Select if you want to Execute or Skip analysis template association. | |
Set advanced schedule configuration options. This tab is available only in the Advanced mode. | |
Hour mask | Select the time of the day when the task is scheduled to run. |
Day of week mask | Select the day of the week on which to schedule the task. |
Day of month mask | Select the day of the month on which to schedule the task. |
Apply mask validation | Select if you want to mask the validation, or not. |
Execute after time | Specify the time period after which to execute the task. |
Enqueueable | Select if you want to enqueue the task, if other tasks are being executed at the same time. |
Customized execution date tab Customize the execution interval by setting the following parameters: | |
Start date | Select the first day on which to execute this task. |
Number of days between executions (step) | Specify the frequency of execution, in days, after the start date. |
Stop date | Select the day on which this task will end. |
Click Save.
