The following new, easy-to-configure, out-of-the-box view templates are added to the existing set of view page templates to enable you to define personalized views in the TrueSight console.
|Custom text||Data mart explorer||Golden model results|
|System group data explorer||System time forecasting||Visual map|
The new view page templates are available with TrueSight Presentation Server 10.7 only. Hence, if you are using an earlier version of Presentation Server, then you must upgrade to Presentation Server 10.7.
Each template provides access to a specific type of data and presents it in a predefined format. For a quick overview of the new templates, see the following presentation:
For more information about all the view page templates, see View page templates.
This enhancement is a part of the overall capacity views transformation. For more information, see Changes to accessing and using capacity views.
You can add customized content to capacity view pages (both custom views and out-of-the-box views) in the TrueSight console. The custom content can include introductory content, instructions, links, or any other textual information. You can format the custom text, by using standard markdown tags.
For more information, see Adding and managing custom text on a view page.
The Microsoft Azure API extractor is enhanced to now support deployments based on Resource Manager model. For more information, see Microsoft Azure - Azure API Extractor.
The out-of-the-box advanced report templates now include the following new templates that are based on VMware vCloud Director:
For more information, see Out-of-the-box report templates.
The Summary page in the Hadoop view is enhanced to show an aggregated top-level view of the key performance indicators for the entire Hadoop estate in the Overview tab. You can now easily discriminate among the different Hadoop distributions available in the enterprise. Also, you can drill down into a Yarn resource pool to analyze the YARN resource pool utilization.
For more information, see Summary page in the Hadoop view.
The are enhanced to restrict imported data to specific network interfaces. You can now focus on specific links within your data center and avoid importing high volume of data for network interfaces that will never experience capacity issues. and extractors

The storage ETLs now support the following platforms:
The information provided when an error occurs during the discovery/collect operations are now improved to better identify the real cause of the issues.
The storage views now have enhanced filtering options. For example, access rights are considered at the filters level to display only those storage systems that you have access to.

The VMware - vCenter Extractor Service ETL now supports whitelist filtering of virtual machines (VMs). The CSV file that you specify in the advanced configuration option Blacklist file path can now contain VM names or a regular expression to identify the VMs to be imported. For more information, see Configuring the continuous polling and collection of data from a VMware environment.
Duplicate entities that are created during the migration of systems from one vCenter to another or during the cloning of systems within the same vCenter are automatically detected as suspected duplicates. You can view the suspected duplicate entities and perform the following tasks:
You can now optimize the performance of VMware ETL modules and storage space used by these ETL modules by managing import of advanced VM events.
TrueSight Capacity Optimization categorizes VM events as advanced and basic VM events. By default, basic VM events are imported by VMware ETL modules. You can configure these ETL modules to enable or disable the import of advanced VM events when you configure the VMware ETLs.
Following operating systems are now supported for Gateway Server, and Capacity Agents:
