The Agent Installer Job - Required Properties panel provides values for required properties that do not have a default value.

The Required Properties panel only appears in the following situation:

  • A user-created property exists for one of the following types of objects:
    • Agent bundles
    • Agent Installer Jobs
    • Automation principals
  • The property is required
  • A default value is not defined for the property

The Required Properties panel always appears if agent bundles or Agent Installer Jobs require a user-defined property for which no default value exists. The Unified Agent Installer creates an agent bundle and an Agent Installer Job, and it must be able to provide a value for the required property.

The Required Properties panel also appears if you create a new automation principal as part of the Unified Agent Installer process and the automation principal requires a user-created property without a default value. If you specify an existing automation principal while running the Unified Agent Installer, the Required Properties panel does not appear.

When the Required Properties panel appears, do select each property listed under Missing Property Name. Then click Change Property Mapping . An editable field appears under <local>. Take one of the following actions:

  • Click in the field and enter a value.
  • Insert a parameter by entering a value bracketed with double question mark delimiters (for example, ??MYPARAMETER??), or click Select Property.
