The Default Configuration panel lets you optionally specify the contents of the exports, users.local, and secure files for all platforms. These files specify the type of access BMC Server Automation clients have to the managed servers containing RSCD agents. For detailed information about the contents of these files, see Setting up configuration files.

Click Edit to type entries manually; click Import to import the contents of an existing file.

Using installer package defaults

If you do not specify the contents of the exports, users.local, and secure files here, the system uses the following defaults from the agent installer package. If you do make changes, the configuration file that you have defined is copied to the agent during execution of the Agent Installer Job.

Overriding global settings

The settings on this panel apply to all the installer packages for all the target platforms on which you want to install agents. However, you can override these global settings for individual platforms, as described in Agent Bundle - Configuration.
