Known issues and workarounds

The following issue remains open in this release of BMC PATROL for Windows Azure.

When you configure an Azure account with a subscription ID that contains the hyphen character (-) by using the pconfig utility, the data collection stops and _ConnectionStatus parameter goes offline. 

Workaround: Apply the RuleSet containing subscription ID by using PATROL Configuration Manager, or do not store the subscription ID in Secure Store. Use the /AZURE/AZURE_ACCOUNT_NAME/SubscriptionID pconfig variable to store the subscription ID.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
