Governance objectives are defined initiatives that help mitigate risk and align IT with the business objectives of the larger organization. Typically, an organization will have several governance objectives that are managed jointly by a compliance team or committee composed of representatives from multiple organizations. Governance objectives drive governance and compliance management and provide the lens through which IT processes, risks, and control objectives are viewed.
provides a mechanism for creating Governance Objectives and then associating the information cataloged in the system to those objectives.
To display a list of Governance Objectives, select Governance Objectives on the left navigation bar under the IT Business Management - Compliance Management heading.
The Governance Objectives screen displays a list of the Governance Objectives.
To sort by a different criterion, click the corresponding column heading. To reverse the sort order, click the heading again.
