Importing and exporting report definition, content, and package


Several commands are available for importing report definitions, content, or packages from files and exporting them to files, and exporting reports results to files.

content, delivered in an encrypted zip file named localized_blreports_content.zip, is installed in the BDSSAInstallationDirectory/portal/deployment directory. You can import the content into

You can export report definitions, content, and packages from

to XML files. You can also import report definitions from XML files.

The following commands are available for these tasks:

Description

export content

Exports the entire reports content store or specified report packages to an archive file.

export reportdef

Exports a report definition from the reports portal to a file.

import content

Imports the entire reports content store or specified report packages from an archive file.

import reportdef

Imports a report definition from a file into the reports portal.

Some of these commands use report parameters as arguments. To get a list of parameters for a report, see Retrieving-report-parameters.
