This space contains information about the 8.1.01 release of the BMC Database Director for IMS product

The BMC Database Director for IMS product provides an ISPF interface that you can use to perform your maintenance tasks. For example, you can:

• Reorganize full function databases in batch, read-only, and online mode
• Clone full function and Fast Path databases (DEDBs)

Database Director fully supports batch, read-only, and online reorganizations for Fast Path databases (DEDBs). You can use Database Director to reorganize DEDB areas or the entire DEDB database.
