Viewing the Actions repository

This topic describes how to view the Actions repository.

To view the Actions repository

1. From the Management Console main page, select Actions > Actions Repository in the Context Frame.
2. To filter the list of Actions by the associated scope, select a value from the Scope list box and click Filter.
   

   Scope	Description
   All	Displays Actions available for all Scopes.
   Application	Displays Actions for Application activities.
   Application Instance	Displays Actions for Application Instance activities.
   DB2 Instance	Displays Actions for IBM DB2 Instance activities.
   DB2 Member Instance	Displays Actions for DB2 member Instance activities.
   Mssql Database	Displays Actions for Microsoft SQL Server database activities.
   Mssql Instance	Displays Actions for SQL Server Instance activities.
   Mssql Member Instance	Displays Actions for SQL Server member Instance activities.
   Node	Displays Actions for Node activities.
   Oracle Database	Displays Actions for Oracle database activities.
   Oracle Database Instance	Displays Actions for Oracle database Instance activities.
   Oracle Home	Displays Actions for Oracle Home activities.
   Sybase Dataserver	Displays Actions for Sybase Dataserver activities.
   Sybase Dataserver Instance	Displays Actions for Sybase Dataserver instance activities.
   Sybase Replication Server	Displays Actions for Sybase Replication Server activities.
   Sybase Replication Server Instance	Displays Actions for Sybase Replication Server instance activities.

3. To search for a specific Action, enter the Action name in the Find Action field, and click Find.
4. To sort the list of Actions by the values in a column, click the header for that column.
5. To perform a task on a particular Action, open the list box on the right side of the row for that Action, and select one of the following tasks.
   

   Action task	Description
   View	Displays the settings for the selected Action.
   Run	Runs the selected Action.
   Edit	Enables you to modify the settings for the selected Action.
   Clone	Clones the selected Action.
   Export	Enables you to export the settings for the selected Action as a .zip file that can be downloaded.
   Delete	Permanently removes an Action from BMC Database Automation.
