Command attribute for specifying the buffer size
The read-buffer-size
command attribute specifies the buffer size, in bytes, that is used to read from I/O streams.
The following adapters support the read-buffer-size
command attribute in adapter requests:
- Telnet
- Command Line and and Session-based CLI
- SSH
You can specify a buffer size or use the default buffer size (1024 bytes). The value specified for the read-buffer-size
attribute takes precedence over the value set in the dynamic target or in the adapter configuration.
In the XML sample shown in the following figure, the adapter request uses the default value for the read-buffer-size
attribute:
