Application Diagnostics in BMC End User Experience Management
BMC AppSight now supports integration with BMC End User Experience Management.
Silent Installation File Structure
The file structure for silent installations was enhanced with additional specific parameter files for the BMC AppSight Server and the BMC AppSight Repository Server, as well as the BMC AppSight for Java EE Console and Server.
These new parameter files are in addition to the InstallShield ISS file mechanism, and do not use any ISS files. This mechanism utilizes a specific parameter file for each setup, supplying all the installation parameters in one file. In addition, this mechanism is “installation parameter” oriented, in contrast with the ISS files which are “dialog response” oriented.
