Once you have launched the Console (see Launching the AppSight System Console), you can connect to an AppSight Server from the Console.
To connect to an AppSight Server from the AppSight System Console:
- Click the Connect to an AppSight Server icon on the Console toolbar. The Connect to Server screen opens.
- Type the name of the required AppSight Server or its IP address.
Or
Click the Browse button, and navigate to the AppSight Server. Select the required AppSight Server, and click OK.
Or
Click Connect using a different user name to display the Windows logon screen where you can enter the relevant login credentials.
If you require your AppSight System Console to connect to the selected server when you launch your console again, select the Automatically connect to server upon startup option. - To connect to the selected AppSight Server, click Connect.
When the connection has been established, the Server name appears in the AppSight System console's Black Box pane.
