With the upcoming release of Feature Pack 2 (v.2.7.02), the Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring plug-in is being permanently removed from TrueSight App Visibility Manager v2.7.

Removal of this feature means that you can no longer display or use synthetic transaction results for end-to-end availability errors, execution errors, latency issues, and accuracy errors with the following system tools:

If you are using Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring plug-in v2.x and want to continue using Synthetic transaction monitoring, do not upgrade and contact BMC Customer Support immediately. The support team will help you migrate and use the Synthetic solution within the TrueSight App Visibility Manager.

To start planning the migration of the Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring plug-in to use BMC TrueSight Synthetic Monitor with Borland Silk Performer, please review the following information:

  • Download the Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring (SEUEM) to TS-Synthetic Assisted MIGration Operations (AMIGO) program from Knowledge Article 000011567 (Support logon ID required) Open link . This knowledge article also has a description about using the AMIGO program.
  • Read about getting started with synthetic transaction monitoring Open link in TrueSight App Visibility Manger v10.5.
  • Contact BMC Customer Support to ensure that you have the correct products purchased for the migration.
