An Integration Service cluster is an ordered collection of Integration Services. You can create a cluster for the Integration Services that are registered to a Infrastructure Management Server. You can set all the Integration services as phone home for a BMC PATROL Agent using the /AgentSetup/integration/integrationServices configuration variable. When the first Integration Service mentioned in the phone home goes down, the PATROL Agent automatically connects to the second Integration Service. When the second Integration Service goes down, the PATROL Agent automatically connects to the third Integration Service.
To create or edit a Integration Service cluster, perform the following steps:
Provide the following details:
|Unique name for the Integration Service cluster
|A brief description about the Integration Service cluster
|Infrastructure Management Server
|Name of the Infrastructure Management Server to which you want to associate the Integration Service cluster
|Allows you to add the Integration Services to the Integration Service cluster
Under Available, you can see the list of Integration Services that are available for the selected Infrastructure Management Server. Select the Integration Services that you want to add to the Integration Service cluster, and click . The selected Integration Services are moved under Selected.
You can also set the order for the Integration Services using the and arrows.
Optionally, you can also add an Integration Service to the Infrastructure Management Server. Click New to add an Integration Service to a server. For information about adding an Integration Service to a server, see Adding or editing an Integration Service through Central Monitoring Administration.
Note: Integration Services version earlier than 9.5 and staging Integration Services cannot be added to an Integration Service cluster, so they are not listed under Available.
