Integrating with HP Operations Manager

Infrastructure Management integrates with HP Operations Manager (formerly knows as HP OpenView Operations) and enables bi-directional flow of events and related information between them. 

You can use this integration to synchronize events and the notification status between Infrastructure Management and HP Operations Manager. Infrastructure Management provides the core functionality for event management.

Infrastructure Management for HP Operations Manager also includes features such as event filtering, event customization, event enrichment, event de-duplication, pair-wise event identification, and event buffering.

On a single machine, Infrastructure Management for HP Operations Manager assumes that there is only one cell to be integrated with HP Operations Manager. Even if there is more than one cell running on a machine, only one cell is used for integration with HP Operations Manager. If more than one cell has to be integrated with HP Operations Manager, then the other cells have to propagate events through the integrated cell.
