Viewing policy details


To access the latest information about this topic and all Cloud Security releases, check out the Release notes and notices.

To view policy information, select Manage > Policies.
On the Policy Details page, you can perform the following actions:

Downloading, Uploading or Deleting Policies

Select a check box corresponding to a particular policy, then click the Settings icon under Policy Details page to perform one of the following actions:

  • Download a YAML file for a selected policy
  • Upload a policy as a YAML file
  • Delete a policy
Remediation

Remediation can be enabled or disabled under Actions on the Policy Details page after selecting the required rule/rules from the Rule Name column.

  • To enable remediation, click on Actions and then choose the type of remediation preferred from the following two types:
  1. Auto Remediation: Remediation action takes place automatically if the selected the rule name has been violated.
  2. On-Demand Remediation: Remediation action takes place according to user discretion if the selected the rule name has been violated.
  • To disable remediation, click on Actions and then choose Disable Remediation option from the cascading menu.


Adding Rules

1.To add a new rule to the policy, click on Add Rules.

2. Fill in the required information under Rule Info on the Add a Rule page and click on Save.

3. Specify remediation for the added rule (Auto, On Demand or Disabled) under Remediation on the Add a Rule page and click save after filling in the connector name, connector type, action type, action name, description and parameters.

Step 3 can also be done by clicking on Add under the Actions column.

Searching for Rules

When searching for specific rules, enter keywords into the search bar.

Deleting Rules

After selecting the rule/rules to be deleted from the Rule Name column, click on Delete Rule under Actions.

Viewing edit details

From the list of displayed rules that have been imported, click the rule you want to edit. For more information, see Editing policies.

A filter bar allows you to filter the available rules according to the severity type (Critical, High, Medium, Low), group name and remediation action opted for (Auto, On-Demand, Disabled).

Assigning or deleting connectorsConnectors can be assigned or deleted under Execution Schedule on the Policy Details page.
