Automatic registration with Integration Service configuration

The PATROL Agent obtains the public key from the Integration Service secure store database, when it initiates a connection to the Integration Service. The Integration Service public key is made available to the PATROL Agent as part of its installation procedure.

The PATROL Agent will connect to the Integration Service using its own protocol. The message data sent by the PATROL Agent as part of the connection request will be encrypted using the Integration Service public key. After a successful connection, the PATROL Agent will also provide its elementary metadata (includes hostname, port, IP-address, OS, and security level) to the Integration Service. As the PATROL Agent connection with the Integration Service is based on public or private keys, it will use its default account or the system account for all activities related to this connection.
