PDFs and videos

This topic provides access to PDFs and videos that support this product. It also explains how to create your own custom PDFs.

Ready-made space PDFs

The following table provides ready-made PDFs that contain snapshots of the content in this space. Ready-made PDFs are available for new releases and product updates within seven calendar days of their release. Although these PDFs contain all topics, the online topics might be more current, and the content of some topics might be better suited for online viewing.

Creating a custom PDF

If you are logged in, you can create a PDF from any topic in the space. Use the following procedure to create a PDF of either the current topic or multiple pages (a parent topic and its child topics):
  1. Go to the branch or topic for which you want to create a PDF.

  2. On the toolbar in the upper-right of the window,  clickand select Export to PDF:

    Important

Although you can export to Microsoft Word, this portal is not optimized for Word exports. If you require an export in XML or HTML format, contact us Open link .

  3. In the Exporting PDF dialog box:

    • In the Template box, select one of the following PDF styles:
      • Simple to export a PDF with no cover, table of contents, or index
By default, the Simple template exports only the current page.
      • Standard to export a traditional PDF with a cover, table of contents, and index
By default, the Standard template exports the current page and its child pages.

      Example

In this example, selecting This page and its children creates a PDF of all topics in the space's "Reference" section:

    • In the Export Scope box, select what you want to export:

      • Only this page to export the current page
      • This page and its children to export an entire section (current page and any child topics)
  4. Click Export.

useful information can't be searched . I tried to download installation guides for stopx37 . However, I could not find it anywhere and plan on opening a tech case with the support instead which defies the whole purpose.

Hi, Rajesh. I have more information now.

Our understanding is that you are looking for installation information for the MainView SRM StopX37/II product. As mentioned in the introductory section of this topic, users use the Installation System to install and maintain all MainView products. So, this Installation System space serves as the installation documentation for MainView SRM StopX37/II.

If you need information about using MainView SRM StopX37/II after installation, see the MainView SRM StopX37/II version 7.9 space or the MainView SRM StopX37/II version 7.8 space.

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I am looking for lists of FMIDs by product and a product life-cycle page to tell me when products go unsupported. I just submitted an ISR for maintenance and the order was rejected because at least one of the installed FMIDs has gone unsupported since I submitted an ISR earlier this week.

Hi, Dave. Thanks for contacting us! You can find lists of FMIDs by product in the following reports:

OK that helps but how about product life cycle and currency? Do the lists you sent me to include the out of service FMIDs? If not I will need to know how to identify those not on your lists and verify they are actually unsupported.

Hi, Dave. You can find product life cycle and currency information by selecting a product name from the A–Z Supported Product List. The subsequent page lists current status and (if applicable) end of support dates for each version of the product.

If you need more information, you can contact BMC Support by clicking here.
