CMDB synchronization can usually occur at any time. To prevent CMDB access for a connection during sensitive times, you can configure blackout windows to occur. During a blackout window, all processing of the CMDB synchronization queue for that connection is paused. New nodes can still be scheduled for synchronization, both by continuous synchronization and batch synchronization, but no processing occurs until the blackout window ends.
