A cluster object in BMC Discovery represents a grouping of one or more logical hosts into a logical group. All cluster objects are set up automatically by the BMC Discovery process.

To view a cluster

  1. From the main menu, select Explore > Data.
  2.  In the Hosts & Containers section, click Clusters.
  3. Select a cluster from the list.
    The details of the cluster that you selected are displayed in a new page, as displayed in the following screenshot.

The information fields for a typical cluster are described in the following table:

Field name

Details

Name

Name of this cluster.

Type

Type of cluster, for example, Microsoft cluster.

Member Hosts

Hosts that are members of this cluster.

Service Software

Software Instances providing the cluster service.

Data Quality Issues

List of any missing fields.
