The Pattern Language, TPL, is used to describe applications, products and other real-world entities that have been modeled in BMC Discovery. The core purpose of TPL is to make it easy to describe the most common structures to be modeled, while remaining powerful enough to describe the vast majority of modeling situations.

The syntax and semantics of the pattern language are described in this reference guide. If you are new to TPL, start with the Introduction to Collaborative Application Mapping.
