TKU May 2010

In TKU May the following changes were made:

• WMI Query versioning was added.
• Registry versioning was added.
• A new package, "Symantec Endpoint Protection", was added to package versioning.
• The SI type is now assigned correctly as "Symantec Endpoint Protection Client" if package present or version 11 or above.
• tkn_name changed to "Symantec Endpoint Protection".
• Version 11.0 was added as known version.
• Metadata products attribute was changed to "Endpoint Protection".
• Associated processes - SymCorpUI.exe, ccApp.exe and ccSvcHst.exe - are now linked to the created SI.
• key_group changed from using full_version to product_version.

TKU October 2012

In TKU October 2012 the following changes were made to the client pattern:

• An extra key was checked during registry versioning
• Path versioning was added
• The key was updated
• The product attribute was added

A separate pattern module was added for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

TKU December 2012

In TKU December the following changes were made:
The documentation was updated for the following sections.

• Product Architecture and modelling was added
• The known versions section was updated to state which known versions apply to Symantec Anti Virus, which to Endpoint Protection Client and which to Endpoint Protection Manager
• Registry versioning was updated with brief description of which registry versioning methods would apply for legacy and modern versions of the product.
• Package versioning was updated to reflect the correct package entry used to determine version for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
• Software Pattern Model was rewritten
• Information Sources section was updated.

Finally, the pattern has had a minor update to ensure mapping of certain attributes to Atrium CMDB BMC_Product CI matches Atrium Product Catalog Data (as published by BMC)

TKU January 2013

In TKU January the following changes were made:

The pattern SymantecEPManager was updated to reorder the file and registry versioning methods as per TKU conventions.
