Adding a User to a ViewGroup

Users with Admin privileges must belong to a ViewGroup to be granted access to the Hitachi Device Manager.

To add a user to a ViewGroup

1. Open the Hitachi Command Suite.
2. Click the Administration tab and select User Groups in the left menu. The list of User Groups should now be displayed in the right pane.
3. Click ViewGroup.
   
   
   
4. Click Add Users.
5. Select the user you wish to add to a ViewGroup (in our example, “monitoring”) and click OK.
   
   
   
   
6. The user is now part of the selected ViewGroup.
