Installation overview for the TEA Agent

To set up BMC Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring, you must perform the following tasks:

• Install BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring environment, which includes the BMC Synthetic End User Experience Monitoring Plug-in.
  
• Implement the Synthetic Device Configuration Pack to display synthetic transactions.
  

• Install Transaction Execution Adapter (TEA) Agents  on computers in strategic logical groups. When you install the TEA Agent, you configure the following:
  • Settings for the TEA Agent service
  • Connections to the BMC Application Management Console, where configuration and administration information is exchanged
