AUTOVOL filter list parameters
A number of volume space information fields can be monitored to determine when actions should be initiated. The following table describes the filter list parameters for the AUTOVOL function. For a complete description of each parameter, see Reference for BMC AMI Storage products.

AUTOLEV=xxxxxxxx | Specifies an 8-character value (AUTOLEV x), where x is a number that indicates the current automation level for the resource that is being automated AUTOLEV0 indicates that multiple levels are not being used. AUTOLEV1 indicates the first level of a multiple-level request. For multilevel automation, this specification must be used in this FLST/RLST member or must be contained within event text of any issued event and then referenced in the BMC AMI Ops Automation Rule that looks for the event. |

When volumes are assigned to more than one policy, the value in this field will contain either the policy name associated with this run of the AUTOVOL function or the first policy to which the volume is assigned. All of the policies to which the volume is assigned can be viewed in the Configuration views. The value is a one- to eight-character policy name. |
AV_POOL=poolName | Indicates the pool or subpool name associated with the record (1-8 characters). The name is the name of the pool or subpool that was specified on the AUTOVOL command, regardless of whether the volume is included in more than one pool or subpool. |

Volumes that do not exist on an RVA volume will have an AV_RVABYTS value of zero. The value is a number from 1 to 9223372036854775807. |

SOLUTION=xxxxxxxx | Specifies the solution value from the originating AUTOVOL command (1-8 characters). BMC Software recommends including a unique solution value in each SET statement in the AUTOVOL function. This value can then be used on the AUTOVOL console command to invoke the solution.
