Viewing storage volumes

The total number of storage volumes associated with a storage device is displayed on the Storage System page. Click the link corresponding to Storage Volumes to view the Storage Volume List page. The following screen illustrates a typical example of the Storage Volume page:

The Storage Volume page may display the following:

Field name	Details
Volume ID	The ID of the storage volume; for example, buildhub_data.
Name	The name of the storage volume.
NAA ID	The NAA ID; for example, 60:05:07:63:00:80:80:8c:30:00:00:00:00:00:00:04.
Mapped	Whether or not the volume is mapped.
Thinly Provisioned	Displays whether the volumes are thinly provisioned or not; for example, if the volumes are not thinly provisioned, it displays False.
Visible Capacity	The visible capacity
Consumed From Pool	The capacity consumed from the pool.
Consumable Capacity	The consumable capacity.
Percentage of Pool Consumed	The percentage of the pool consumed.
Block Size	The block size of the storage volume.
Number of Blocks	The number of blocks of the storage volume; for example, 1267015352320.
Consumable Blocks	The number of consumable blocks of the storage volume; for example, 1267015352320.
Volume Size	The size of the storage volume.
File System	The file system that the host is using to store files, shown as it is mounted from that host.
Virtual Disks	The virtual disks used to hold the file system.
Storage System	The storage system for this volume. This is a link to the corresponding Storage System page.
Storage Pool	Displays the following fields about the storage pool and each field link to the corresponding storage pool page: Pool ID Type Name Capacity Consumed Capacity Percentage Consumed Available Capacity Subscribed Capacity Percentage Subscribed Oversubscribed Capacity Oversubscription Warning Number of Volumes
Storage Consumers	The consumers of the storage volume. The following fields may be displayed: Connection Name—The name of the connection. Connection Type—Type of the connection. Connection Value—The connection value. Fibre Channel Port—The connection name.
Front End FC Ports	The following front end fibre channel port fields may be displayed, which also links to the corresponding Fibre Channel Port page: Port Name—The front end fibre channel port name. WWPN—The World Wide Port Name. Type—The front end fibre channel port type. State—The front end fibre channel port state. Speed—The front end fibre channel port speed.
Io Group	The IOP group.
Virtualization Type	The virtualization type; for example, Sequential.
Compressed	Whether the volume is compressed.
